What should appear in the specification and batch COA for a feed product?

The specification should define identity, composition or key actives, relevant physical properties, microbiological or contaminant limits, packaging and storage. The batch COA should identify the product, lot, dates and results or conformance statements against agreed criteria. Buyers should know which methods are used, their units and tolerances, and whether testing is batch-by-batch or periodic. A generic COA without a traceable lot or agreed specification provides limited release assurance.
