What traceability and recall capability should a feed supplier demonstrate?

The supplier should link each finished lot to raw-material lots, manufacturing and packaging records, release decisions and customers. Agree lot-code interpretation, response time, contact routes and record retention. A mock trace or recall exercise can test whether quantities reconcile and affected distribution can be identified promptly. In cross-border trade, buyer and distributor records must connect to the supplier’s system rather than forming an isolated document trail.
