What should be documented during pet supplement sample approval?

Identify the sample version, formula revision, process scale, packaging and date. Record acceptance criteria for appearance, odour, flavour or acceptance, dimensions, weight, dispersion and any analytical attributes relevant to the product. Approval should state whether it covers only sensory characteristics or also the final specification and artwork. If commercial scale changes the equipment, ingredient source or pack, define which checks must be repeated before the first production lot is released.
