Can registration or evaluation samples be shipped like ordinary commercial goods?

Not necessarily. Samples may still require import permits, customs declarations, authority approval, controlled storage or investigational documentation. The permitted quantity and use may be limited, and a sample shipment does not authorise sale. Before dispatch, the sponsor and importer should confirm consignee eligibility, documents, labelling, transport conditions and disposition of unused material. Never describe evaluation samples as gifts or misdeclare them to avoid controls.
